Maktub (...)'
Maktub, particípio passado do verbo Kitab. É a expressão característica do fatalismo muçulmano. Maktub significa: "estava escrito"; ou melhor, "tinha que acontecer". Essa expressiva palavra dita nos momentos de dor ou angustia, não é um brado de revolta contra o destino, mas sim, a reafirmação do espírito plenamente resignado diante dos desígnios da vida.
